If you come for an acupuncture visit, Dr. Tanya wants you to feel at ease and to enjoy your session.  Her goal is to have you feeling deeply relaxed as though you have just been to the spa.  The acupuncture rooms have been set up for your maximum comfort.  Dr. Tanya Wylde uses heated blankets on her acupuncture tables and soothing infrared heat lamps when indicated with dim lighting in the treatment rooms creating a calming atmosphere.  Dr. Wylde has set up a high quality sound system playing a choice of relaxing music or complementary guided relaxation meditations throughout your treatment to allow you to go even further into a relaxed state.  Acupuncture works in part through stress reduction so these added touches can not only make the treatment something to look forward to, they also deepen the therapeutic outcome.   Dr. Tanya takes comfort and stress management seriously; this is why her acupuncture treatments are provided with gentleness and respect and she has additional training in acupuncture and mind-body medicine.
